Refund & Returns Policy

1) Return Window

  • You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.

2) Return Eligibility

To be eligible, the item must be:

  • in the same condition as received, unused, with labels/tags and in the original packaging; and

  • accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.

Items that are not eligible for returns: made-to-order or personalised items, items damaged through improper use, assembled/installed items that cannot be safely repacked, gift cards, and downloadable/virtual products. “Final sale” items are returnable only if faulty or misdescribed.

3) How to Start a Return (RMA)

Email us at hello@yourhomerulez.com with:

  • your name and order number

  • the reason for return

  • a photo of the box labels and (if applicable) the issue/damage

We’ll reply with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) and instructions. Returns sent without an RMA may be refused.

The return address will be provided in the RMA email.

4) Return Shipping Costs

  • Change-of-mind returns: customer pays return shipping.

  • Damaged, defective, or wrong item: we cover return shipping or provide a prepaid label.

Please use a tracked service and keep proof of postage.

5) Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us at hello@yourhomerulez.com as soon as possible (ideally within 7 days).
Include photos of the damage/defect and the outer/inner packaging plus a photo of the box labels. This helps us resolve the issue quickly (replacement, parts, or refund).

6) Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original item (once approved) and place a new order.

7) EU/UK Cooling-Off Rights

If your order is delivered within the UK or EEA, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery for any reason.

  • Items must be returned in original condition (unused, with tags, in original packaging).

  • You are responsible for return shipping for change-of-mind cancellations.

  • We will refund the item price and the standard outbound delivery cost (if charged). We may deduct for diminished value caused by handling beyond what’s necessary to inspect the item.

8) Refunds

  • We’ll notify you when we receive and inspect your return and confirm approval or rejection.

  • If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days.

  • Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.

  • If 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at hello@yourhomerulez.com.

9) Additional Notes

  • For large or fragile items, we may offer collection using our courier—details will be provided with your RMA.

  • Returns must be sent back within 14 days of RMA approval.
